Viga Boland is retired, a former high school English teacher, and the author of 4 memoirs. Three of these are based on the child sexual abuse she lived through at the hands of her biological father: No Tears for my Father: Viga's true story of incest Learning to Love Myself: Viga's recovery and self discovery after child sexual abuse Voice from an Urn: Viga's mother's account of the incest in Viga's childhood and teens The 4th memoir, though book 4 in this series, is a total departure from the seriousness of the 3 books in the "No Tears for my Father" series. Titled, "The Ladies of Loretto", it is humorous look back at her 4 years in a Catholic high school in the sixties.
